How did we scattered to pieces like this?

Feels like just yesterday, together we smiled

And, today separated we cried.

Our mind is a mess, feelings rushed.

Don’t know where to go,

with the feelings so mushed.

Seeing the stars today twinkling together.

But missing the warmth of us being one forever.

Mornings with the warm coffee of yours,

are now the warm awakening sunlight of the sun.

The last we talked was years ago.

But to me it was just seconds ago.

Seeing you smile was the only thing I wanted,

But didn’t know the price to it,

would make me so tormented.
