Monster Monster; we think of it every night, Thinking of it in ways optimist, pessimist, trust, and envy. Searching it under beds or dark shallows of sin, Forgetting to check, within us. Humans no more being themselves, Turning into nightmares. Devils and demons losing their jobs, Seeing humans outrun them. Losing all modicum of benevolence. Being in a daze claiming being angels. Not having the fear of being brought to reckoning. Being cruel to their own kind. Pretendedly being good when needed, And, being their own genuine self when achieved what wished for. Demolishing the world created to enjoy serendipity and respect, Into a abyss of evil and sin. Letting the world fade into darkness, Sacrilege; that’s what has been done.
